Charity Day - 3rd August

On Sunday 3rd August, Sickleholme will host its annual Charity Day Competition, with all proceeds this year going to support Ashgate Hospice.

The Club’s Charity Day is fast approaching, taking place on Sunday, 3rd August. We would be delighted if you would consider entering a team – not only to enjoy what promises to be a fantastic day, but also to show your support for this year’s Captains’ charities.

Both the Men’s and Ladies’ Captains have chosen Ashgate Hospice as their nominated charity, a cause that is close to many hearts. The Captains need your support to help make this event a true success.

Ashgate Hospice’s mission is a powerful one:

“We provide palliative and end-of-life care free of charge to people aged 18 and over. We care for people living with a life-limiting illness, including cancer, neurological diseases, and end-stage heart, kidney and lung diseases.”

You can book a tee time through the Pro Shop or by using the online booking system.

Your support would be greatly appreciated and will go a long way in helping Ashgate Hospice continue its vital work.

Charity Day Tombola – Prize Donations Needed

As part of the day, we’ll be running our popular tombola table, which raised nearly £1,000 last year thanks to the generosity of our members who kindly donated prizes.

We’re hoping to match—or even exceed—that total this year, and once again we’re asking for your support. If you’re able to donate a prize for the tombola, no matter how big or small, it would be greatly appreciated.
