Sickleholme Golf Club celebrated the 100th anniversary of its 18-hole course, opened July 18th, 1925. From its early days etched into the hills of Derbyshire, to becoming one of the region’s finest inland courses, Sickleholme remains a treasured landmark in the UK golfing community.

Bobby Locke at Sickleholme – A Master’s Tribute

One of golf’s greatest legends, Bobby Locke, visited Sickleholme and was so moved by the beauty of the 13th hole that he took home a painting of it to South Africa, where it remained on his mantelpiece for years. Today, that signed artwork hangs proudly, surrounded by other icons who’ve visited the club.
