These clubs simply feel superb

There are plenty of amazing feelings that come with playing golf. One of them is when you land a green on a tricky par 3.

These shorter holes are incredibly scenic with the flag tantalizingly within our reach from the tee. We also get a greater sense of ‘risk and reward’ by going for the green with our first shot, often you either make it and have a nice birdie putt lined up, or you’re scrambling to secure a bogey.

When you do land the green from the tee, it’s a great view admiring where your ball’s come to rest and a great feeling knowing you’ll only need your putter to close out the hole. You end up strolling off the green feeling like you’re playing golf properly and walk onto the next tee with your head held high.

If you want to be feeling on top of your game more often in 2026, we’d recommend you get a regular training routine together, but you really want to make sure you’re playing with the right irons for you in the first place.

Here in the pro shop, we’ll be able to take a look at how you approach the ball, taking into account multiple factors such as your swing speed and general ability to recommend you a set of irons that best fits your game.

There’s certainly a lot to be said about the brand-new clubs from TaylorMade too. These clubs look stunning, feel great, and will definitely help you play better golf this year.

TaylorMade has constructed this iron’s face to bring you long distance on all strikes, and the inclusion of the ECHO Damping System ensures a soft, refined feel by eliminating harsh vibrations at impact. It’s the perfect choice for mid-to-high handicap players who want a sleeker look without sacrificing the stability of a wide-sole iron.

TaylorMade Qi Max HL – A confidence builder for novice players

Featuring a lot of the same great tech that’s in the standard Qi Max, the HL model (High Launch) is an oversized model intended for novice players who want to build up their confidence and gain more height on their iron shots.

By weakening the lofts and significantly reducing the overall club weight, TaylorMade has made it much easier to generate clubhead speed and consistent carry. The head features a larger profile and more offset than the standard model, providing a massive sweet spot and an endearing look at address. Overall this is a large yet wieldy club that ensures the ball stays in the air longer for higher.

It features a thin-walled hollow body injected with lightweight SpeedFoam Air which supports a high-strength forged face for maximum ball speeds and a soft responsive feel. It’s a great club for mid-to-low handicap golfers who want an iron with a modern, aspirational look would like to achieve more distance and consistency.

The P770 is similarly performance-driven but comes in a slimmer, compact, tour-inspired shape for elite ball strikes. A thinner topline, shorter blade length and less offset offers enhanced workability and precise shot-shaping control that better players demand. It retains the same hollow body construction as the P790 but the flighted center of gravity tech in the P770 prioritizes consistent gapping over sheer yardage. This is a superbly workable iron single figure handicap players will love playing with.
